Working with Lyons Seafood and Blue Dragon to create packaging for an easy preparation, all-in-one meal solution.
Lyons Seafood came to us with the aim of increasing sales of prawns within the stir-fry market. This product development was as a result of in-depth research, which showed that shoppers usually just picked up chicken to go into this easy, and healthy meal solution. Lyons spotted this as an opportunity to educate consumers on the speed and convenience of cooking with seafood in conjunction with one of the UK’s best selling stir-fry sauces.
We worked with both products to create co-branded packaging; dealing with the challenges of combining two strong identities in unison. Packs launched into Sainsbury’s and Waitrose in early 2013 with plans to continue the relationship with AB world foods, expanding the range into some of their branded Indian sauces.
