We’ve always been passionate about the Food and Drink industry. Over the past 30+ years we’ve worked with many small and large businesses in this sector. We love getting involved and busy supporting our fellow foodie clients.

Our passion for this sector made us realise there was a gap in the market for an all inclusive and mutually supportive platform with a focus on the South West food and drink sector that was free. This led us to the creation of Food Press.

Food Press is about celebrating the success of the food and drink sector in the South West. We discuss the issues that we face as a region in maintaining and improving standards of sustainability, innovation, quality and profitability.

Our region’s food and drink sector contributes nearly £3 billion to the regional economy as well as maintaining a strong global reputation for quality foods. But despite this success, the security, provenance and distribution of our food and drink face challenging disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is vital that this sector remains sustainable throughout this crisis and beyond, protecting jobs and regional economic contribution.

We hope that Food Press will enable businesses of all sizes, manufacturers and processors to find a voice to raise issues, learn about best practices and operational efficiencies, namely in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is not a membership platform and everyone is welcome to join the conversation. From sustainable packaging to the issues that COVID-19 has thrown at many, we wish to share those positive stories and to also voice everyone’s concerns.

Going forward, Food Press will remain free to access and we will continue to publish advice on industry best practices, success stories and direct contributions from the sector continuing to help businesses become more sustainable and helping growth.
