Creative Design Role at bluestone360

Role Overview

We are seeking a first-rate Creative Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the creative industry – covering both print and digital – and a natural flair for communicating, presenting and conceptualising ideas.

You’ll be able to show us examples of your work that really stand out from the crowd when it comes to typography and brand, as well as your experience with campaign work from concept to delivery.

Working within a close-knit creative team, we want someone who will inspire those working around them and infuse the studio with an enthusiastic and ambitious mindset.

What we look for in our team

We’re looking for a designer to contribute to the ongoing development of our portfolio. Our bespoke design offering is growing all the time and we expect the successful applicant to be engaged to a large extent in that rapidly expanding side of the business.

We seek an ‘ideas’ person who works with passion, takes pride in what they produce and can contribute constructively from the origin of a brief. We encourage team members to work from their own instinct rather than simply follow instructions and are looking for someone who understands how all elements of a creative project combine to create a bigger, brand-inspired picture.

You will be a fundamental part of a team made up of Accountants, Designers, Developers, Project Managers, and Administrators. You will be involved in all stages of the creative process from design and estimation through to the artworking and ongoing design support for our clients.

We value a ‘can do’ attitude, and you can expect to find yourself in an environment where you can contribute from day 1, where teamwork is appreciated and recognised and where there’s a collaborative team atmosphere.

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other designers, developers, account managers and clients.
  • Attend key meetings as part of the bluestone360 team, being confident in presenting to clients.
  • Ability to work well to deadlines.
  • Responsible for producing new ideas and concepts for more complex projects.
  • Confidently articulate & communicate your vision and creative ideas to the wider team.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of projects.

Your skills

  • Design qualification – degree or equivalent.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • A natural flair for communicating, presenting and conceptualising ideas. 
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Driven individual with the right ‘can do’ attitude.
  • A collaborative working style.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work to a high level of creativity, accuracy and technical ability.
  • Have an eye for what looks aesthetically pleasing.
  • There’s brownie points up for grabs if you have any video or animation experience but this is not essential.
